Please see below an End of Tenancy Form for completion. This is for refund of the Security and Cleaning Deposits (Subject to Terms & Conditions of your licence agreement).
Please note that the Property must be handed back in the same spotlessly clean & tidy condition as existed at the start of the licence so that it is ready for occupation by new Tenants. The Property was professionally cleaned prior to occupation so it is expected that it will be handed back to this same standard of cleanliness. All shared rooms of the house will be inspected at the time of the move out inspection – Hallway/Stairwells, Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom.
It is every tenants responsibility to maintain and keep clean the shared areas of each house in good clean condition.
· Common Areas.
o Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and free of rubbish. All floors should be vacuumed and mopped (where appropriate). This includes underneath sofas, coffee tables or other furniture.
· Kitchen.
o All floors, surfaces, furniture, storage arears and appliances (inside and out) should be clean and tidy.
· Bathrooms.
o All sinks, taps, tiles, showers, shower screens/doors, baths and toilets should be clean.
o Any tiled floors should be vacuumed and mopped.
· Bedrooms.
o Please ensure all personal belongings are removed prior to your departure. This includes duvets, duvet covers, pillows etc. Do not leave these items behind for use by the next tenant, as this will incur deductions from your deposit.
o All floors should be vacuumed and mopped (where appropriate). This includes underneath beds, bedside tables, desks etc.
o Ensure all items are removed from inside and on top of your wardrobe and that all surfaces are dusted/vacuumed, washed and cleaned.
o All skirting boards, window sills, doors and door frames should be dusted, washed and cleaned.
o All blinds should be dusted and cleaned.
· Keys
Please ensure you have returned your Room Key, Front Door Key and Fob.
· Any Inventory items removed/dismantled/moved during the tenancy must be restored and re-assembled
· Any Inventory damaged/broken must be repaired or replaced with similar before the property is handed back
Please note that as per conditions of the licence agreement, any costs incurred for furniture re-assembly, cleaning, breakages or damages will be deducted from the security and/or cleaning deposit.
